Operators clip fast and name in shorthand — that's reality, not a problem to fix. Nucleus fuses the clip name, transcript, roster, official play-by-play, and visual evidence to resolve what each clip is. Multiple angles of the same play group into one canonical event. Ambiguity becomes "needs review," never a confident guess.

HOW IT WORKS

Send — and see every stage

Nucleus Broadcast hands clips off from the source with full observability: queued, bundled, media and sidecar paired, downloaded, acknowledged. A pipeline is only trustworthy if every stage is visible.

Receive and validate

Ingest confirms the file is complete and usable — media and XML paired, placed in the right game session — then generates proxies and surfaces every audio channel with VU meters, so "it exists" actually means "it's ready."

Enrich locally

GPU-accelerated transcription, roster and play-by-play sync, and visual evidence extraction all run close to the media — fast, private, and dependable in truck and venue conditions. Cloud is for sharing and backup, not the critical path.

Gate before trusting

Deterministic quality gates keep AI honest: a goalie can't be the shooter, PP means power play not penalty, a fan sign can't become a game event, and vision never overrides official play-by-play. Ambiguous clips become needs-review — a cautious label beats a wrong one on air.

Use it anywhere

Enriched clips flow to the Nucleus app, the local server, Premiere, and AI agents — searchable by meaning, with related angles linked and source plus proxy locations known.

We already run a MAM. Replace it?
Keep it. Ingest is the understanding layer — handoff, enrichment, and search by meaning. We index and enrich; we don't migrate. Most deployments leave the existing MAM untouched.
Will the AI invent labels?
It's built not to. Vision and transcript are evidence, not verdicts — official play-by-play and deterministic gates have the final say, and anything ambiguous lands in needs-review instead of shipping as a confident guess. A wrong label is worse than a cautious one.
Do operators have to change how they name clips?
No. Shorthand is the input format the system was designed around. Roster sync means OETT resolves to your goalie without anyone maintaining a vocabulary table.
What happens to our library if we leave?
It exports — media, metadata, and index, in open formats, any time. We'd rather earn the renewal with another season of compounding searchability than with a locked door.
Where does processing happen?
Enrichment runs locally on GPU hardware near the media; cloud handles sharing, backup, and remote access. Details on the architecture page.
